The EVE Award honors women whose contributions and efforts made lasting improvements within their community.
One of our residents, Joy Casino, has been nominated to receive this award! Joy sews T-shirt dresses for young girls who are living in poverty. The dresses are distributed worldwide by missionaries, for many of the girls it is their first new dress. In addition, Casino speaks on behalf of WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service), a unit of the U.S. Naval Reserve during World War II.
